Radiology

We offer cash-only imaging for affordable, transparent pricing on CT, X-ray, and ultrasound services, free from the unpredictability of insurance billing. Our focus on a streamlined, patient-friendly experience ensures quick scheduling and comfortable visits, prioritizing your convenience and care.

Imaging Made Transparent and Accessible

Most imaging centers are built around insurance, prior authorizations, and unpredictable billing. We do things differently. At Hitchcock Direct Imaging, every scan—X-ray, CT, or ultrasound—has a clear cash price. No surprise bills. No insurance roadblocks. Just high-quality imaging with fast scheduling and results you can trust.

While we are located at Hitchcock Family Medicine, our imaging services are open to anyone. Any provider may order imaging with us, but please note that a provider’s order is required for all services.

Provider orders are required. Please fax orders to 423-769-0020.

Our Approach

We believe imaging should be simple and accessible. That’s why we provide X-ray, CT, and ultrasound at clear cash prices — no surprise bills, no delays from insurance, just fast answers and quality care.

How it Works

We’ve simplified the imaging process so you can get the scans you need quickly, affordably, and without insurance hassles.

  • ORDER IMAGING

Have your HFM doctor or any licensed healthcare provider send your imaging order to us.

  • SCHEDULING

Once we receive your order, our team will contact you to set up a convenient appointment. Most studies are scheduled within days, not weeks.

FAQs

Do I need insurance to use Hitchcock Direct Imaging?

No. We are a cash-only imaging center. That means no insurance hassles, no surprise bills, and no prior authorizations. You pay a clear, upfront price at the time of your scan.

Do I need an order from a healthcare provider?

Yes. All imaging studies (X-ray, CT, ultrasound) require a healthcare provider’s order. Any provider may order imaging with us; it does not have to be a Hitchcock Family Medicine doctor.

What types of imaging do you offer?

We currently provide X-ray, ultrasound, and CT scans. For MRI, we work with trusted local partners at negotiated flat-fee rates.

How soon can I get an appointment?

Most studies can be scheduled within a few days, which is often much faster than hospital imaging centers.

How do I get my results?

All studies are read by board-certified radiologists. Results are sent directly to your ordering provider, who will review them with you.

Do you accept outside patients?

Yes. While we are located inside Hitchcock Family Medicine, Hitchcock Direct Imaging is open to everyone.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card to pay?

Yes. Many patients use HSA/FSA funds for imaging services, since we provide itemized receipts.
